Free lamination of vaccination cards at Office Depot/Office Max — through July 25
Cruise lines, travel destinations, major sports venues and even universities have begun requiring people to prove that they have been vaccinated against COVID-19. But that flimsy paper vaccination card, the only real evidence to show that you have been vaccinated against the virus, might not hold up well over time.
Not to worry: Office Depot and OfficeMax are offering free lamination of vaccination cards at all of their stores nationwide through July 25. Learn more.
Just note: Some vaccination cards may not hold up to the lamination process. If a thermal printer was used to print stickers on the card, lamination can turn the card black. Gently scratch any stickers with your fingernail — if the sticker turns black, a thermal printer was used.
Free credit reports — through April 20, 2022
With much of America now getting vaccinated against COVID-19, thoughts are naturally returning to spending — in stores, on vacations, even on houses.
Before you whip out the plastic, take a look at where your score currently stands — and keep tabs on it for the rest of the year. Recently, the big three credit-reporting agencies announced they will offer access to free weekly credit reports through April 20, 2022. Free fishing days — throughout spring and summer
Want to catch a big one, but don’t have a fishing license? Not a problem. Free Fishing Days allow anglers to cast their rods without having to purchase one — perfect for beginners looking to try out the sport.

Volunteer tax preparers across the nation will do your taxes for free, provided your annual income is $ 57,000 or less. Others also may qualify for the service. Visit this IRS webpage to learn more.
Those who make $ 72,000 or less can use the IRS Free File program, a partnership between the IRS and makers of commercial tax-preparation software. Free national park admission — April 17
National Park Week is April 17-25, making it the ideal time to celebrate one of America’s treasures. As a bonus, entry fees will be waived on April 17. That means you can enjoy all parks for free, including the parks that normally charge a fee.

Free seeds for spring — ongoing
In an effort to help restore pollinator populations, the Alt National Park Service is giving away free black-eyed Susan and butterfly milkweed seed packets.

Free Red Cross test for coronavirus antibodies — through May 31
Want to find out if you’ve been exposed to the coronavirus — and aid your community? Simply donate blood, platelets or plasma to those in need at your local American Red Cross office.
The organization will test the blood “for the presence of coronavirus antibodies, which form when the body fights infections such as COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus.”
This service was supposed to end in March, but it recently was extended until the end of May. Expect your results approximately seven to 10 days after your donation.
