When you buy the $ 45 one-year membership — which is the cheaper of two memberships that Sam’s Club offers — the retailer will give you $ 45 in Instant Savings for free.
In effect, you will get back your membership cost — making this something of a freebie — minus any taxes you might owe.
Instant Savings are basically a form of discount.
The $ 45 in Instant Savings that you will receive by taking advantage of the current Sam’s Club membership deal will be added to your membership account within 72 hours of activating your new membership. You then can apply the discounts to qualifying purchases, saving yourself up to $ 45.
Just note that the free $ 45 in Instant Savings is valid only for 60 days. Also, you cannot apply it to already-discounted items or a few other things mentioned in the offer fine print, such as alcohol and pharmacy purchases.
How to take advantage of the membership deal
To redeem the current Sam’s Club membership deal that comes with $ 45 in Instant Savings, first visit the webpage for the offer and enter your email address.
Sam’s Club then will send you a promo code to provide when joining the warehouse club chain, which you can do online or at your local Sam’s Club.
Just note that by taking advantage of this membership offer, you authorize Sam’s Club to renew your membership automatically every year until you cancel, according to the fine print. You can cancel this auto-renewal by visiting your local Sam’s Club or calling 888-746-7726.
