ColourPop’s She’s Soft Glam Eyeshadow set consists of Blush Crush and Nude Mood. You get pretty romantic pinks and mauves AND polished neutrals! I talked about Blush Crush here and now I’m going to tell you about Nude Mood.
Okay, I KNOW I need another neutral eyeshadow palette like I need a third boob but I have to admit that I originally thought Nude Mood might be boring but I actually LOVE this palette!
Nude Mood is a mix of 9 matte, metallic and super shock finishes all in warm shades.
bluffin’: matte pale ivory
wink wink: super shock soft gold with champagne pinpoints
bare to wear: matte soft light beige
au naturale: matte muted saddle brown
put on heirs: metallic bright copper gold
mugged off: matte burnt peach with gold sparkle
lap of lux: metallic golden bronze
the cocoa: matte burnt sienna with gold flecks
moody: matte chestnut brown
The colors and textures work so well together and perform beautifully. Standouts for me are Put on Heirs, Wink Wink is a stunning champagne gold but expect a little fallout. Au Naturale is going to get a lot of use as the perfect crease shade and Lap of Lux is a spectacular bronze shimmer. The matte shade Bear to Wear has a decidedly peach tone I love and the matte shade Mugged Off is the ideal terracotta shade with a subtle bit of gold flecks thrown in. Really there is not a bad shade in the entire palette. Again, I appreciate including a brow bone shade like Blufflin’ and a liner shade like Moody.
For this look, I used Au Naturale in the crease, Put on Heirs on the lid, Wink Wink on the inner corner, Bluffin’ on the brow bone, and Moody on the outer corner and to line.
Bottom Line: both ColourPop palettes are good quality, provide versatile looks and are priced right! I do prefer Nude Mood just because it’s a little easier to create looks for me. The She’s Soft Glam set is the best of both worlds; pretty romantic looks and polished sophisticated looks…on the cheap! And of course, ColourPop is cruelty-free!
