Just last month, the clean beauty brand C’est Moi debuted at Target stores nationwide. C’est Moi works with ingredients that are consciously harvested and produced to create products that are formulated without toxic and allergenic ingredients. All their products are dermatologist tested, hypoallergenic, reef safe, not tested on animals, and EWG verified.
I tried three of the new makeup collections that landed in Target in February.
- Visionary Metallic Makeup Crayon Set – The stars have aligned to bring you four stunning metallic shades that you will love endlessly with every look you create. Shades include bronze, silver, gold, and rose gold; $ 20 for the set. I love makeup crayons, they are so quick and easy to use. These are smooth and creamy but make sure to use an eyeshadow primer or they will crease. I’m also loving the colors: Silver Linings, a true silver Starbright, yellow gold, Luna, beautiful rose gold, and Supernova, a lovely bronze.
- Lid Love Cream Eyeshadow – A sheer and shimmering veil of stunning shades that make eyes glow. Shea butter and sunflower seed oils smooth the skin and give your lids that perfect velvety smooth finish. Shades include bronze, pink/blue, and green; $ 12 each. Gleaming (bronze) and Vibing (green) are simply lovely. Crushing (magenta) is out of my comfort zone. Regardless, these cream shadows blend beautifully and stay put.
- Flushed Lip & Cheek Balm– a next-level tinted lip + cheek balm that keeps your lips and cheeks flushed full of moisture with a vibrant pop of color. Shades include rose, mauve, and watermelon; $ 12 each. These cute blush sticks are a cross between a cream and a gel. Tickled is a soft pink, Unfazed is mauve, and Charmed is a bright watermelon. They blend nicely and can be used for lips or cheeks.
In this picture, I’m wearing the Rose Gold eyeshadow crayon on the lid with the Bronze cream shadow in the crease on one eye. On the other eye, I’m wearing the Gold eyeshadow crayon on the lid with the Bronze crayon in the crease. I tried to get close-up pictures but they didn’t come out sharp enough. On my cheeks is Tickled, the pink Lip & Cheek Balm, and Watermelon Lip & Cheek Balm on my lips.
Bottom Line: C’est Moi is a fun and affordable brand I’m happy to see at Target! C’est Moi also has skin and body care!
