My new favorite affordable brand, Maven Beauty has just released two new products: Rose Water Setting Spray and Rose Water Prep & Refresh Spray, $ 22 each. You might have seen my introductory post on Maven.
Maven Rose Water Setting Spray is supposed to keep your makeup set and fresh for up to 16 hours. I don’t know about 16 hours but I do know it kept my makeup fresh for 10 hours and that’s good enough for me. Roses are aura-lifting, packed with antioxidants, soothes skin redness and irritation, and helps maintain the skin’s pH balance. Simply spray all over your finished look to set. My only complaint is that I wish the spray was a bit finer of a mist.
Maven Rose Water Prep & Refresh Spray is designed to control oil during the day. Before makeup, spritz onto your bare face for smoother, hydrated skin that helps makeup last for up to 12 hours. For those of us with dehydrated skin, spray during the day as often as you need for that “I totally drink enough water!” glow.
These are two products that are definitely worth trying.
