One of my favorite skincare brands is The Better Skin Co. As someone who has written about cosmetics and skincare for over 12 years you know I’ve tried an incredible amount of brands. Some are great for the short run while others stand out above the rest. The Better Skin Co is one of those brands.
The first product I used from them is Mirakle Cream. It transformed my skin and helped rid me of the dryness that was keeping it from looking its best. I’ve since rebought it including over the winter holidays.
I have to thank them for sending me two new products that you’ll learn about this week. First up is the one I’ve been using consistently over the last month: EPIK-C SERUM. Now it’s no secret that using a serum is one of the best things I can do for my skin. I’m addicted to serums and to eye creams.
Using Epik-C Serum with or without Mirakle Cream has helped me feel great about how my skin looks. I have a drawer full of foundation yet I don’t know if I’ll go back to them after masks aren’t necessary. My skin looks perfect (other than some uneven coloring) and I don’t feel I need to mask it.
What they say about this serum: A Power Trio Complex of Vitamin C and two French plant-based actives. Vitamin C promotes a youthful, healthy glow. French plant-based actives work to keep your skin looking tighter and brighter. Pack a triple punch with our most potent serum.
• Contains the Power Trio Complex of Majestem ™, Vitamin C and PhytoVie®
• Majestem ™ provides a visible tightening and lifting effect
• Vitamin C assists in brightening dull skin
• Vitamin C assists in reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
• PhytoVie® pollution defense acts as a practical ‘pollution shield’
• Sodium ascorbyl phosphate (SAP) is specifically produced for use as a stabilized source of vitamin C in cosmetic products. Light-stable and oxygen-stable.
• Vitamin C 3%
Reading this incredible list makes me appreciate this serum even more. Directions say to use it once or twice a day either with your moisturizer or alone. I sometimes get lazy and skip a night moisturizer but I always use my sunscreen with this during the day.
About half of a pipette full is more than enough for my face and neck. It’s a serum that’s on the dry side, that is it dries down quickly. I often like to cocktail this with another of my many serums (when I don’t get lazy that is) so I appreciate how quickly it dries. Even though The Better Skin Co mentions that there’s a hint of lemon, I really don’t notice that and my nose is ultra sensitive.
Right now everything is 30% off at The Better Skin Co which makes this reasonably priced serum even more reasonable. It’s a perfect time to help your skin improve and be better.

Sodium ascorbyl phosphate is a stabilized form of vitamin C. It’s ideal in skin care products as it can be stored and packaged more effectively than regular vitamin C – which can be volatile and lose its effectiveness upon contact with the atmosphere.
