We’ve pretty much been hiding our lips for the last year but they want some freedom while still staying safe. We need to keep our lips in top notch condition so my next few reviews are going to be for some favorite lip products that have been shared with me. I’m finally getting out a little and if my small group is vaccinated then we are socializing without our masks on. It’s a pleasure even though we are keeping our social distances. Start with exfoliating. Even if you’ve been good about keeping your lips conditioned with balms during the Pandemic it’s definitely a good idea to refresh them with a great exfoliant. The Confetti Lip Scrub is not only effective but it’s delicious to smell and taste. Apply a little and massage on your lips, now directions say tissue it off but really?? Why ruin the sweet sugar taste that you can enjoy. It’s formulated with finely-ground sugar crystals and hydrating essential oils. It immediately removes dry, flaky skin, leaving lips soft and supple.
There are two different Lip Slips in the package. One is the Original Lip Slip One Luxe Gloss and the other the Whipped Vanilla. Both of these are bring a high shine gloss to them. I find that the Whipped Vanilla has a slight sweet vanilla fragrance but not really a taste. While the original Lip Slip One Luxe Gloss is a very sweet light pink it doesn’t impart color on my lips. Both have the tiny sparkles in them which actually make my lips look fuller (yea!!).
These are designed to give you a perfect high-shine gloss, while deeply nourishing and conditioning lips with restorative jojoba and sweet almond oils. I’m known as someone with strong feelings about fragrance and taste and these are perfect. Maybe a little fragrance but nothing to write home about.
