Finally, a cool-toned neutral eyeshadow palette! You wouldn’t think that would be so hard to find but it’s like looking for a real live unicorn! Nearly all the palettes released in the last few years have been warm-toned. I know I own most of them!
Since I own so many eyeshadow palettes with warm shades I was delighted when Natasha Denona launched her Glam Eyeshadow Palette $ 65. This spectacular palette of cool-toned neutrals has 15 both matte and shimmer shades for glamorous smoky looks and sophisticated everyday looks.
Each shadow has the name of the ideal place to apply them which is a bonus for newbies. Of course, you can mix them up to create anything you desire.
The quality of the Natasha Denona Glam Palette is superb. The shadows last on my older eyes even without a primer though I always suggest it. There is no fallout and the texture of both the matte and shimmer shades is soft and creamy. The shadows blend well without getting muddy. Fear not my 40 & 50 beauties, the shimmer is NOT glittery and does NOT emphasize textured lids.
Standout shades for me are Center Eye Lid, a shimmery rose, Inner Corner, a peachy shimmer, Inner Corner (second row), a gold champagne, Center Eye Lid (second row), shimmery silver, Center Eye Lid (third row), shimmery peachy gold. Crease, a cool taupe, Blend, a cool sienna and Transition, a mushroom grey all make the perfect crease and transition shades. Smoke is ideal for the outer corner and of course to smoke everything out. Lash Line is great because it’s not too harsh for older eyes. Overall, all the colors in the palette work flawlessly and coordinate beautifully.
After using the Glam Palette for about 2 months I can honestly say I reach for it every day. It’s just so easy to create pretty polished looks or sexy nighttime drama. Fear not over 40 & 50 women, the shimmers are NOT glittery and do NOT emphasize textured lids. Since the focus is on eyes thanks to Covid 19, this is a must-have for cool-toned beauties!
