This summer Pureology revealed a completely renovated lineup with an upgraded look and select formula improvements. Pureology has always given consumers sulfate-free and 100% vegan products but their eco-improvement has grown even further.
The new Pureology boasts a reduction in carbon footprint, increased water conservation, and 95% post-consumer recycled plastic packaging that is 100% recyclable. In addition, Pureology formulas are paraben-and-mineral-oil free.
There are 30 new offerings including shampoos, conditioners, treatments and styling products. The line is organized by benefit: hydration, strength, smoothing, toning, volume and texture + hold.
Pureology products are made with:
- Anti-Fade Complex
- Concentrated Formulas
- Zerosulfate
- Dual Benefits for all hair types
- Reuse in Mind
Pureology graciously gifted me with a few products from the renovated line. The Hydrate line is their best-selling haircare system that deeply moisturizes, softens and protects dry, color-treated hair. It is formulated with jojoba, green tea and sage to leave hair nourished and healthy. As you shampoo and condition, the blend of ylang ylang, bergamot and patchouli fills the bathroom for a wonderful experience.
The Strength Cure haircare system that fortifies and repairs damaged, processed color-treated hair. This system is vegan, sulfate-free and formulated with strengthening protein keravis and antioxidant astaxanthin. Perfect for all shades of color-treated blonde, lightened, or highlighted hair including lifts, highlights and balayage. The signature aromatherapy blend of raspberry, peach and water flowers is delicious.
The Pure Volume line is a lightweight volumizing haircare system that adds body, fullness and airy movement to flat, fine color-treated hair. Perfect for me! This system is vegan, sulfate-free and formulated with wheat protein and eucalyptus leaf extract. It smells fabulous and adds a little oomph to my lame locks.
Style + Protect Texture Finishing Spray absorbs oil while adding movement and light texture to color-treated hair with key ingredient Rice Starch and a signature aromatherapy blend of Tuberose, Almond Milk, and Cedarwood. I like to use this not only between shampoos but also to add texture to my fine hair for styling.
Color Fanatic Multi-Tasking Leave-In Spray ($ 28). This multitasking leave-in treatment has 21 benefits that primes hair for heat, smooths frizz, detangles, protects from damage, and adds shine from root to tip. Key ingredients include Camelina Oil, Coconut Oil, and Olive Oil all help with making blow-drying easier, helps prevent split ends, and creates silkiness. The signature scent of Rose, Floral Ginger, and Cedarwood is sensational. Most conditioners weigh my fine hair down and make it too soft to style. I like using Color Fanatic to detangle and condition without being heavy!
Bottom Line: I’m super impressed with the new Pureology line. Dual benefit, professional-quality color care with effective formulas for all hair care needs!
