When I used to think of reading glasses the image of Little Red Riding Hood’s Grandma appeared. You know, round wire-rimmed glasses halfway down her nose? Thanks to Readers.com, reading glasses are now considered a statement accessory as well as a practical way of reading with magnification.
Like most people, I started wearing reading glasses in my 40’s. The type used in books and magazines seemed to get smaller as I got older. I absolutely hated the cheap wire-rimmed options at the Dollar Store and the quality was so poor they lasted all of a week.
When Readers.com contacted me I was thrilled to get to pick from over 600 unique styles of readers with up to 14 power options, including hard-to-find powers. Readers.com provide great value, unbeatable selection, and personalized service to make their customers happy.
How to Choose:
The selection includes men’s, women’s and reading sunglasses. You can shop by frame style, frame shape, face shape, power, best-sellers, trending now, collections, bifocals, multifocal and customizable styles. The selection includes not only readers but computer glasses and reading sunglasses. WOW!
Styles I Chose
I chose the best selling The Sophie $ 15.95in two colors: coral and pink. It’s no wonder this is a best-seller, the style comes in a rainbow of vibrant colors. These lightweight, full-frame readers have spring temples for a custom-like fit–no falling off your face like the cheapie ones. The Sophie is flattering on any face shape, both my sister and I can wear them and they are my favorite of all the styles I chose. I’m constantly putting them on and off and they are super durable.
The Bookworm $ 19.95is classically round and retro, for those who like function with a hint of style. These full-framed reading glasses have a lightweight frame with metal stud trim on the front. I chose these just for fun and I quite like them. They come in tortoiseshell and a marbled black or brown look.
For my computer readers, I chose The Domino $ 19.95 a bold two-toned style. I LOVE having computer glasses! They have slightly yellow-tinted lenses to help block blue light that is emitted from your computer screen. There are anti-reflective lenses for no glare. If you work on a computer pretty much all day like I do, you will find they really help with eye fatigue and headaches. Mine have a tortoiseshell top with a solid purple bottom.
