Okay, I give in. If you’ve been on social media at all in the last month, you’ve seen theThrive Causemetics mascara video. The perky blonde applies Thrive’s Liquid Lash Extensions Mascara $ 24 and her lashes grow from meh to WOWZA! Seriously, they look at least two inches long. I decided to put this mascara to the test.
After a real lash extension fail, my lashes have struggled to come back. After many months they were looking pretty okay when I decided to go back to the lash growth serum Babe Lash. I’ve had good success with it in the past and I swear this time my lashes looked worse than they started out! Short and spindly. I did buy them off a website I haven’t used before AND at a discount. Maybe I got a bad lot? Or expired? No matter the reason my lashes suffered.
Watching the Thrive mascara video for the umpteenth time I thought what the hell? My lashes can’t look any worse. That plus the over 5,000 positive reviews and I hit submit.
The formula delivers rich, glossy black pigment. It didn’t flake or smudge and even better–no clumps! The wand is long and skinny with tiny bristles that catch every lash. This is a tubing mascara so it wraps around each and every lash to plump them up and it makes my skinny lashes look fatter. Lashes are one place I don’t mind being fat!
What I like the best about this mascara is that my lashes feel soft and conditioned thanks to the combination of vitamin B5 + sodium hyaluronate that moisturize and strengthen. In addition, Castor Seed Oil and Shea Butter deeply condition to support lash health and length. As with most tube mascaras, the easiest way to remove is in the shower, though my Makeup Eraser works too.
Did Thrive Liquid Lash Extension Mascara live up to the hype? It’s a yes for me but I will be able to tell better once I get my lashes back to health. I have ordered RapidLash to help them grow again and I’m confident that Thrive Liquid Lash Extension Mascara will help them look fabulous!
