It’s the heart of December, and while this crazy year is finally coming to an end, we’re still very much in the middle of winter. As we settle into the cold season, now is a great time to warm yourself up by the fire and warm up to the idea of getting a new cellphone plan. These three plans have been the hottest of 2020.

Visible’s $ 40 Unlimited plan

Unlimited cellphone plans have been the most popular plans this year — all three plans on this list are unlimited. Visible’s one-and-only cellphone plan tops the list. At just $ 40 per month for unlimited talk, text and data on Verizon’s industry-leading network, Visible’s cellphone plan is an incredible deal.

While it might not have all the frills of an unlimited plan you can from the major carriers, at this price, who needs frills?

T-Mobile Magenta

The T-Mobile Magenta plan has been one of the most popular cellphone plans for years, and it remains so in 2020. Along with unlimited everything, you can take advantage of perks like free Netflix (with two or more lines), data and texting in over 210 countries, and access to 5G at no extra cost.

At $ 70 per month, T-Mobile’s Magenta is significantly more expensive than the Visible plan, but it’s one of the best deals for unlimited directly with one of the major carriers.

Do More with Verizon Wireless

Rounding out the list of the three most popular cellphone plans in 2020 is Verizon.

Not surprisingly, this is the most expensive plan on the list — Verizon isn’t exactly known for being cheap. However, it’s also the most robust of the three hot plans.

As with the Visible and T-Mobile plans, you’ll get unlimited talk, text and data with Verizon Do More. You’ll also get 15GB of full-speed mobile hotspot, six free months of Apple Music and Disney+, plus access to Verizon’s 5G network included.
